So Justin and I made an official decision the other night: We pick who we wanted as pastors at our wedding, and we actually asked them, too! We made a decision and it's official and stuff, so now we have to stick to this! It's crazy that we made a decision that quickly! The people we had discussed having just happened to be in the same place at the same time, and we figured that would never happen again (at least until our wedding) so we had better do it. We were at our friend Sherry and Leo's wedding this past Saturday. We had picked one Baptist and one Lutheran...Ever since I've been thinking that Justin is the one w/ whom I want to spend the rest of my life, I've also been thinking that it would be wonderful to have our friend Tripp be the one to 'Marry' us...he will be ordained in the Baptist church soon, and also happens to be a very close friend of Justin and I. It seemed perfect that he would be the one we would pick. We also wanted a Lutheran pastor (since I just happen to be a Lutheran!) and I could think of no one better than Pastor Bob from Chicago Uptown Ministry. I worked at the Ministry all year last year as part of my LVC (Lutheran Volunteer Program) and I respect him very much. He's always there to support me and listens to me and is just an all around amazing person. It's going to be a very special day to have Tripp and Bob there with Justin and I as we begin the rest of our lives together. I couldn't think of 2 better people to ask to share that with us.
