These are my "brothers". They live in Minnesota...I live in Illinois. This makes hanging out very difficult...Over the past 3 years, I've only seen them for weddings. They all got together on Saturday for Dave's birthday bash. They called me to say hello. It was great to hear from them, but sucked that I couldn't be there. Hopefully someday we will all live a lot closer, and we can betroth all of our various children to each other. It will be great fun.


My friends Susie & Erik came to visit this weekend with there baby Jannah who is my goddaughter. We had a good time of playing games (Clue & Settlers of Catan) and then went out for dinner and drinks while my friend Sarah babysat the little one. It was great to see them all. They live in Madison, so it's much easier to get up to see them, but still is not done very often, which is sad.

I also had another Pampered Chef party on Sunday. My friend Bethany was the host. We made Gluten free/vegetarian Chicken Broccoli Ring. 'Twas good, even if it was a bit of a pain to make the dough do what I wanted it to do! We also had caramel bites and garlic bites, which are always amazing.
